INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police have made an arrest in the shooting death of 19-year-old Darren Kirk.
Officials say Kirk was fatally shot on Sept. 30, 2013 in the 1100 block of North Tuxedo Street. After the murder, police revealed they were searching for a black man on a bicycle.
Tuesday evening, police arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile on charges of murder and carrying a handgun without a license.
That person's name has not yet been released.

On Tuesday, Indianapolis Police Chief Rick Hite will promote 23 officers. Three sergeants will be elevated to the rank of lieutenant. Twenty patrol officers will be promoted to the rank of sergeant.
