HOWARD COUNTY, Ind. (Kokomo Tribune) - A man who was arrested in March after two children were taken to the hospital with alcohol poisoning has been sentenced to four years in prison.
Joel O'Bannon, 21, pleaded guilty to two Class D felony counts of child neglect as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors, 24-Hour News 8's news partner The Kokomo Tribune reports.
O'Bannon was arrested in March after Kokomo police found a set of 2-year-old twins suffering from alcohol poisoning. The children were airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital.
