INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A shooting near Speedway left one man in critical condition early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred on Moreland Avenue near 22nd and Tibbs.
On the scene, officers found a man who had been shot in the back.
Police say they had a hard time understanding some of the details of what happened because of a language barrier.
Officials did learn the man rode his bike to a home on Moreland Avenue after he was shot.
The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police officials say the victim is stable.
IMPD dispatchers say another person was shot in the parking lot of a Rally's at 38th and College around the same time.
The victim of that shooting showed up at Methodist Hospital. That victim is expected to live.
It is not yet known if the two incidents are related.
