NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - A man was pronounced dead early Sunday morning after a single vehicle crashed in Noblesville.
The accident happened around 1 a.m. on State Road 37 between Allisonville Road and 206th Street. The roads were closed down early Sunday while crews were on the scene.
Officials on the scene say an early 90s red Ford Mustang was heading north on Ind. 37 and for unknown reasons, crashed and ended upside down. It was unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The victim of the crash has been identified as 28-year-old Bryan Erb of Kokomo.
The Noblesville Police Department's crash team was investigating the incident. Alcohol has not been ruled out as a contributing factor.
The city of Kokomo has purchased a former steel plant site that has undergone years of environmental cleanup and plans to use the land to try to reduce damage from future flooding.
