INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A three car crash sent three drivers to the hospital Monday night.
The incident occurred near the intersection of 56th Street and Kessler Blvd. around 6:15 p.m.
Officials say the driver of a red Honda Odyssey was taken to Methodist Hospital for back and neck pain. The driver of a tan Nissan Maxima needed to be extricated from the vehicle. She was taken to Methodist Hospital for extensive injuries and loss of consciousness. Another driver was taken to Community North Hospital to be checked out.
IMPD is investigating the cause of the accident.
UPDATE 10:45 P.M.: Many Indiana State Police dispatches were reporting accidents on major roads due to slick weather conditions Sunday night.
