INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - One of the suspects facing allegations he seduced a teenaged student at North Putnam High School formerly worked with Ben Davis High School students.
The Indianapolis school notified parents of Ben Davis band students via a letter that one of the suspects is was a part-time member of the band staff. The school later clarified the man in question was not technically an employee of the school, as he was paid by a booster club, but did work with students.
In the letter, school official say they received no reports or complaints about his job performance at Ben Davis.
Officials encourage parents contact the school if they have any concerns about the case.
While the Ben Davis letter did not identify the suspect by name, sheriff's deputies confirmed Wednesday that suspect Craig Rogers is the band director at North Putnam.
A winter storm warning is in effect for most of Central Indiana.
It's very rare that a single person can reach across national, racial, and spiritual borders to bring such hope and healing.
Dispatchers with Indiana State Police say a vehicle left the roadway Thursday night off of Interstate 69.
