INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Big Brothers and Big Sisters held their lunch event at the Marion County Fair Sunday morning. It's not only to celebrate the 800 participants in the program, but to hopefully inspire more.
The program has 500 kids still in need of a Big Brother or Big Sister.
24-Hour News 8 spent part of the day with "brothers" Jon Jeffaries and Ceon. The two have been together for a couple of years now.
Big Brother Jon says the experience has been great.
"I go out here and I see all these other people interacting and I know what the Big Brother feels and what the Little Brother feels, and so for me I look at it that way and say, 'wow I'm just glad to be a part of this,'" Jon Jeffaries told 24-Hour News 8.
