INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - More than 480 volunteers will work to take down the lights from the annual Circle of Lights Saturday morning.
The workers will be taking down more than 4,7800 lights, which are on 52 garland strands. The strands include more than six miles of electrical wire and more than two miles of garland.
The crews will start to work around 8 a.m. They are expected to be done by 10:30 a.m.
The 50th Annual Circle of Lights took place on November 23 on Monument Circle. More than 100,000 people attended the event.
In Novemberer, more than 200 volunteer union electricians gathered on the circle to string the lights for the Christmas tree centerpiece.
