INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A Martinsville motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
Officials tell 24-Hour news 8 the driver was going north on Tibbs and blew through a stop sign. The 44-year-old driver lost control of the motorcycle and struck the side of Iona's Maywood Tavern.
The driver was not wearing a helmet and sustained severe head trauma. The driver was pronounced dead on scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol was a factor in this accident.
