INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - 24-Hour News 8 has learned the family of IMPD Officer Jason Fishburn met with the Moore family at the hospital Sunday night.
Police say a man wanted for murder shot Fishburn in the head during a chase back in 2008.
Fishburn survived and is still working for IMPD.

We need the support of the entire community -- this is one of their officers out protecting them on a Sunday morning," said Bill Owensby, President of the Indianapolis Fraternal Order of Police.
