INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Freedom Blast fireworks show is an 18 minute show that is launched from the top of the Regions Bank building.
Crews started setting up Sunday with some working 15 hour days.
The downtown freedom blast will get started around 6:30 tonight.
It will take place at the Indiana War Memorial grounds.
But the celebration isn't just fireworks.
There are lots of activities for families and kids.
It will go until 10-30 tonight.
Indiana State Police are warning drivers don't plan on stopping along the interstate to catch the show.
Troopers will be monitoring the I-65 split and if drivers are stopping, they will be issued a ticket.
9 P.M. UPDATE: The winter storm warnings have been canceled and most snow is coming to an end. The colder temperatures were starting to move into central Indiana.
