INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A 28-year-old man was shot and killed at an Indianapolis hotel Monday night.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police were called to America's Best Value Inn in the 3700 block of North High School Road around 8 p.m.
Officers found Steven Martin suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest in a hallway on the second floor.
The victim was rushed to Wishard Hospital where he later died.
Martin appeared to have been staying at the hotel for some time police said Monday.
Police are searching for a suspect or suspects and are hoping witnesses will come forward. IMPD officials say they're unsure if the shooting actually occurred inside the hotel.
