INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be offering a new parking option in time for the 2013 Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard. And officials say the parking is perfect for those interested in tailgating.
The IMS will be making parking available at Turn 3 for the first time. The parking will be sold on a first com, first served basis. All parking must be pre-paid and pass-only.
"Race Day Turn 3 infield parking passes are ideal for all fans looking to park inside the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway and enjoy tailgating," according to a news release from the IMS.
Those parking in the new lot are asked to enter the Speedway through Gate 2 off of 16th Street.
The tickets for Turn 3 parking went on sale Monday. They can be purchased by calling (800) 822-INDY or (317) 492-6700 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
