INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) - Sunday, The Department of Defense announced the death of an Indianapolis soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
23-year-old Sgt. Tristan M. Wade died March 22 in Qarah Bagh District, Ghazni Province, Afghanistan, when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
Wade was assigned to the 573rd Clearance Company, 2nd Engineer Battalion, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.
