INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A George Washington High School student told officials Thursday morning that she was approached by a man in a car on her way to school.
Indianapolis Public Schools Spokesperson John Althardt said at 7 a.m. Thursday morning, a Hispanic man in his 50s stopped near Addison and Ohio streets and asked the student if she wanted a ride or needed a ride to school. She then refused and moved away from the vehicle and the car drove off.
The student told school officials the man has dark black hair and was driving a small white SUV.
IPS and Indianapolis Metropolitan police officers say they will continue to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call 317-226-4633.
