INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Four full-rescue automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and 120 student athlete echocardiograms were donated to Lawrence Township Schools this week.
Community Heart and Vascular Hospital provided the life-saving equipment and screenings to Lawrence North High School, Fall Creek Valley Middle School, Lawrence Central High School and Belzer Middle School.
Each school received an AED and 30 student echocardiograms, according to a release.
The donation was made possible through Community Health Network Foundation and is valued at $11,800.
