INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The anticipated winter storm is gaining strength as it heads towards Central Indiana. Those who are unprepared may be caught off guard.
Managers at local stores had a steady stream of people coming in for last minute items, not only for Christmas, but for the storm.
Many customers headed to the stores in search of salt.
"I think there has been enough talk about it, so I hope people are prepared. I actually have in-laws coming into town today. They were supposed to leave yesterday but they left today, a day ahead to beat the storm to town," Kevin Swiontek said.
Most retail stores will return to their normal hours tomorrow.
