INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police officials said a bicyclist was seriously injured after a car struck it on Meridian Street.
The street was closed down at 22nd Street as a result of the accident, but has since reopened.
Officials said, according to witnesses, the bicyclist was northbound on Meridian Street riding between the northbound and southbound lanes. The cyclist was reportedly weaving in and out of traffic before the southbound vehicle struck the cyclist.
The cyclist was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but was upgraded to serious condition.
The driver wasn't cited.
