INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WISH) - A Speedway convenience store that sold a $9.5 million Hoosier Lotto winning ticket sold yet another winning ticket recently.
The convenience store, located at 8101 East 21st Street sold a $1 million Powerball ticket. The ticket matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball number. Nationwide, no one matched the all six numbers. Thus, Wednesday's jackpot is worth an estimated $80 million.
The winning numbers in last night's drawing were: 2-5-31-39-41 with a Powerball of 29.
This is the second time in less than 10 days that a Hoosier Lottery retailer has produced multiple big winners in a short period of time, Hoosier Lotto officials say.
On Feb. 15, a Circle K in Seymour sold a scratch-off ticket worth $50,000. Two days later the same location sold a $1 million scratch-off ticket.
The Hoosier Lottery would like to remind all players to please play responsibly.
