INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says they are investigating a shooting on the city's north side.
The incident occurred just after 4:30 a.m. in the 600 block of 34th, near the intersection of 34th Street and College Avenue.
On scene, IMPD found one person suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was transported to Wishard Hospital in critical condition. His condition has since been upgraded to serious but stable condition.
The victim's identity is not yet known.
An investigation led police to a home in the 6500 block of 44th Street. Police took a man from this residence to police headquarters to be interviewed.
This person is not believed to be a suspect in the shooting.
Police are currently searching for a red Ford F-150.
