INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indiana Pacer Lance Stephenson is offering one local student "the ultimate prom experience."
Friday morning, the day before Game 3, Stephenson presented the honor to Megan Conlin and her prom date at Southport High School.
Stephenson said he wanted to help out a student who otherwise would not be able to afford the mounting costs of prom.
Conlin had to write an essay discussing her personal struggle to remain successful in high school.
Stephenson and his family will provide the Conlin with a dress and her date with a rented tuxedo. He's also paying for hair and makeup, manicure and pedicure, transportation, dinner for two at Mo's Steakhouse, barbering services, and professional pictures.
Their prom night is Saturday.
