INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police responded to 52 accidents in Indianapolis Tuesday morning.
This was a day after the Spring snow storm that brought 8.7 inches of snow to the area Sunday night and Monday.
Linda Jackson, Indianapolis Metropolitan police public information officer, said between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m., police responded to 42 property damage accidents and 10 personal injury accidents.
All accident scenes were cleared by 10 a.m.
At Raymond and Emerson streets, there were six vehicles involved in a crash. Dispatchers say it started out as a one-vehicle accident and then five others collided into the accident scene.
Officers on the various accident scenes report icy bridges and icy road conditions, a dispatcher said.

An Illinois man was killed late Thursday when the car he was driving was struck by a semi tractor on I-70 about three miles west of the Cambridge City exit.
