COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) - A single-vehicle accident killed a Columbus man on US 31 in Jackson County.
The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. Friday morning just south of the bridge over Sand Creek.
Police say 49-year-old Kevin Jeffries hit a tree with his 2004 Chevrolet Impala. Jeffries was pronounced dead on scene.
Jeffries worked at Aisin U.S.A. Manufacturing Inc. in Seymour and had left work just before the crash.
