WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Ind. (WISH) - Two Wayne Township residents were displaced from their home after a fire Friday night.
The Wayne Township Fire Department was called to the 18050 block of South Lynhurst Dr for a residence fire.
Upon arrival, crews found a one-story home with heavy smoke coming from the attic. Firefighters contained the fire to the attic and brought the fire under control in about 15 minutes.
No one was home at the time of the fire. However, two residents have been displaced and are being assisted by Wayne Township Victims Assistance.
No injuries reported were reported in this incident.
9 P.M. UPDATE: The winter storm warnings have been canceled and most snow is coming to an end. The colder temperatures were starting to move into central Indiana.
