INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - At 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, WGU Indiana will present Gov. Mike Pence and representatives from Workforce Development and Indiana Economic Development Corp. with more than 140 pledges.
The pledges are signed by top business and community leaders in Indiana in support of the state's degree achievement.
The university made a goal of delivering 100 pledges Tuesday and surpassed its goal.
On Tuesday, the school will also announce the availability of $100,000 for higher degree scholarships – the largest offering in the school's history.
The presentation will take place at the Indiana State Capitol outside of the Governor's Office, Room 206.
