CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - Officials say 16-year-old Carly VanArsdall was found safe after being reported missing Saturday afternoon.
Police say left her home at 9 a.m. Saturday on 2nd Way in Carmel. Officers and family were concerned with Carly's well being, as she has known medical conditions.
Sunday, officials say Carly was located safe in Pickens County, South Carolina.
Officials say Carly was found at the home of a 23-year-old man with whom she had an online relationship with since February.
Investigation shows the man drove to Carmel to pick Carly up.
Police say arrangements are being made for her return. Until then, she is being held at the Pickens County Sheriff's Dept.
It is not yet known if criminal charges will be filed against the 23-year-old man.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for Central Indiana through Friday night. Southern counties will be under a winter storm warning beginning Thursday night through Friday night.
