JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Hundreds of dollars in coins found on the road have prompted an investigation by deputies in Johnson County.
The Sheriff’s Office says they received a call Friday that people were picking up glass along State Road 135. The individuals were actually picking up change.
Deputies ultimately picked up more than $400 in change from the road. Other items were found as well, which led investigators to find a nearby home had been robbed.
The investigation into who is responsible continues.
