MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) - A Muncie agency that works to help cancer patients feel beautiful has undergone a makeover of its own.
Workers from Simply Beautiful have transformed the wig room at Little Red Door into a pink-and-green salon where cancer patients can relax and try on wigs.
Simply Beautiful's Lynne Hatfield tells The Star Press she wanted to help because cancer has touched her live and those of her staff.
The room features a chandelier once owned by Hatfield's mother, who died of breast cancer 25 years ago.
The Simply Beautiful crew plans more work at Little Red Door. They're seeking local artists to display their work in the office.
