LOGANSPORT, Ind. (Pharos-Tribune) - A 7-year-old won't be charged with battery after he was arrested for punching his teacher in the nose.
The school and family reached an agreement and the Cass County prosecutor determined he wouldn't press charges or make an informal adjustment against the child.
The boy has a history of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, autism and psychosis. On March 18 he was enrolled in a special education class full time and is accompanied by an aide or student helper.
His mother says he has done well since he has been there.
