MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) - The names of some of the people involved in a violent car crash in Delaware County over the weekend have been released.
Six teenagers were sent to the hospital as a result of Saturday night's accident.
On Monday, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office said 18-year-old Aaren Kelly was flown to IU Health Methodist Hospital in critical condition. Kelly was sitting in the middle of the back seat.
Four of the six people injured Saturday night were sitting in the back seat, and none of the back seat passengers had a seatbelt on. One person was sitting on another's lap.
DeQuan Blackmon, 18, was driving the vehicle and Demond Davis, 18, was another passenger. The other names weren't released by the sheriff's department, which said it wouldn't release the names of juveniles.
All other victims suffered minor injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Speed and environmental conditions could be factors, according to the sheriff's department.
