DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH/AP) - A crash in Muncie sent six teenagers to the hospital later Saturday night.
The crash occurred just after 11 p.m. in the 3500 block of Burlington Drive.
Officials tell 24-Hour News 8 the teen's white SUV crashed into a tree before hitting a pole. The force of the impact snapped the utility police, causing homes in the area to lose power. Three boys and three girls were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
One of the teenagers involved in the crash was airlifted to an area hospital. The Associated Press reports the 18-year-old Aaron Kelly is in critical condition at Methodist Hospital.
It took crews nearly five hours to clean up the crash scene. This crash is still under investigation.
