MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) - A former Ball State University basketball standout has found a new role working as the youth sports director for the YMCA of Muncie.
Dennis Trammell played professional basketball overseas after leaving Ball State but says he decided to make Muncie his home.
Trammell's new job will allow him to work with children and learn more about nonprofit management, wellness projects and membership coordination.
YMCA CEO Cathy Clark tells The Star Press that Trammell's previous work at a community center and as an assistant basketball coach will help him in his new role.
