INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Preliminary flood damage assessments will begin Wednesday in Howard, Madison, Wabash and Tipton counties.
Officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security will be touring the area evaluating damage caused by severe weather and flooding that began on April 17.
The evaluations will determine if officials should pursue federal assistance.
If federal assistance is granted, Small Business Administration loans will be available.
