OXFORD, Ind. (WLFI) - A Benton County home raided in early November for a meth lab was the scene of a fire Friday night.
Firefighters were dispatched to the home in the 400 block of McConnell Street in Oxford just before 10 p.m. Oxford Fire Chief Jason Dalton said it took crews about 30 minutes to extinguish the fire.
Dalton said no one was inside the home when it started.
Dalton told our sister station WLFI the home had been in quarantine since an active meth lab was found inside on Nov. 9.
There's no word yet on the cause of the fire. Dalton said the state fire marshal has been called in to help with the investigation.
A winter storm warning is in effect for most of Central Indiana.
It's very rare that a single person can reach across national, racial, and spiritual borders to bring such hope and healing.
Dispatchers with Indiana State Police say a vehicle left the roadway Thursday night off of Interstate 69.
