LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - One Lafayette church celebrated Good Friday with a march.
Hundreds gathered outside of St. Boniface Church to reenact Jesus' walk to his crucifixion.
The Stations of the Cross in the streets are taken from scripture and depicted how Roman soldiers beat and whipped Jesus on the way to Calvary.
"It reminds us Christ cannot be cooped up just in a church building, he can't be restricted to just a church building. Christ calls us to go into the streets," said Father Tim Alkire of St. Boniface Church.
St. Boniface Church has been holding the Stations of the Cross since 2000.
