NEWTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A collision between a car and semi resulted in one death Friday morning in Newton County.
According to Indiana State Police (ISP), the driver of a car was traveling north on U.S. 41 just north of Kentland around 11 a.m. Central time.
ISP says for an unknown reason, the car crossed the median and collided head-on with a semi.
The driver of the car died as a result of the crash, our sister station WLFI reports.
No information is being released yet on the driver's identity.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
