WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) - Purdue University's Global Police Research Institute awarded two $50,000 awards in an effort to study food, health and nutrition.
One project will focus on food security issues in Kenya. Another project will look at epigenetics related to dietary supplements and fortified foods.
The institute has awarded more than $500,000 for various projects since 2010.
