MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) - Officials at Ivy Tech have confirmed with 24-Hour News 8 that a threat was made to their Muncie campus Thursday afternoon.
The Ivy Tech Muncie campus was closed Thursday after a threat was made by someone. The campus was evacuated.
Indiana State Police responded with bomb experts. A text message was also sent out, saying a threat was made to the Cowan Road Campus. The text message indicates classes have been canceled at Cowan, Fisher and Patterson buildings.
No injuries were reported. Not much information was available while the college was working with authorities Thursday afternoon.
Authorities have also confirmed with 24-Hour News 8 that a threat was made to the Ivy Tech Marion campus Thursday as well.
Avon Police Department and Avon Community School Corp. are investigating photos sent from female students to male students, police officials said.
