TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A West Lafayette woman was found dead on the side of the road early Friday morning.
Tippecanoe County Sheriff Tracy Brown said 48-year-old Julie Gunther was found near State Road 25 East and County Road 650 North in Tippecanoe County.
Brown said a neighbor found the woman around 6:30 a.m. while walking her dog.
Gunther had been visiting her sister Thursday evening, and was last seen walking to her other sister's house next door.
An autopsy was performed Friday, but due to pending toxicology results, a cause of death has yet to be determined.
