INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Law enforcement officers raised almost $14,000 after fundraising at Red Robin Gourmet Burger restaurants to benefit Special Olympics Indiana.
Officers worked for tips at 10 different company restaurants for the annual Tip-A-Cop Day on Saturday.
Special Olympics Indiana provides Olympic-type sports training and competition for Hoosiers with special needs. The organization teams up with law enforcement each year for the Law Enforcement Torch Run, which helps raise public awareness for Special Olympics.
