SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Police are offering a reward for information on two men in connection to a cold case file involving the death of a Shelbyville man.
24-Hour News 8 news partner The Shelbyville News reports Timothy Madden, 47, was found dead on Sept. 30, 1997. He was lying on River Road and Flat Rock River Bridge in Noble Township. He suffered blunt force trauma to his pelvis and lower body area after he was dragged by a vehicle for over a mile.
That location is 12 miles from where he was last seen - leaving Big Jim's Bar, now known as The Village Pub in Shelbyville. He left with two men and police are still looking for them. Leads on the two men dried up about a year after the incident.
Police don't know if the two men are local or if they just happened to be passing through town.
