GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) - Police were on the scene of a serious accident Wednesday morning in Hancock County that killed two people.
Dispatch says around 6:10 a.m., they received a call from a motorist that came across a car that drove off the road and struck a tree. That crash happened near 181 North County Road 300 West in Greenfield, which is just north of U.S. 40.
Police say the crash could have happened overnight.
The two victims were not immediately identified and police could not tell whether or not the victims are male or female.
