GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) - Greenfield Police Department investigators were looking for a man they said tried to lure girls with cash, and exposed himself when that failed.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. Monday at a playground in the 200 block of Switch Grass Drive.
Police officials said two 11-year-old girls said the man parked a vehicle across the opening to the playground, got out of the vehicle and showed them cash. When the girls didn’t approach him, he went back to his car, came back and pulled down his pants in front of them.
The girls ran to an apartment to tell a parent.
The suspect was described as a white man who was either balding or had short hair, no facial hair and wearing sunglasses. He was between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-11 and driving a silver PT Cruiser with a white license plate. One of the taillights wasn’t working.
The PT Cruiser was also seen Friday in the area.
Anyone with information about the case was asked to contact police at 317-477-4410.
