INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Protesters took to the streets of Indianapolis Saturday, demanding that the U.S. stay out of the conflict.
A protest was held at the War Memorial in downtown Indianapolis where protesters made signs, then marched for peace.
They say they believe the U.S. can't win if takes military action in Syria.
Protesters said they don't want to get involved in something that turns into a long, costly, and deadly conflict.

On Tuesday, Indianapolis Police Chief Rick Hite will promote 23 officers. Three sergeants will be elevated to the rank of lieutenant. Twenty patrol officers will be promoted to the rank of sergeant.
