CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Hundreds of people put their bodies to the test in a challenging run through a wooded obstacle course for charity Saturday morning.
Indiana’s only Warrior Dash took place in Crawfordsville at Tom’s Marine Sales at 1389 County Road West 200 South.
Dashers climbed, swam, slipped and slid through various, sometimes dangerous and often muddy obstacles placed along the 3.24 mile route.
All money raised by registrants of the event benefited St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
24-Hour News 8’s Drew Blair, Teresa Mackin and photojournalist Joy Hernandez participated as a team. It was the first time experiencing a Warrior Dash for all three runners.
College football fans will flock to Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday for the Big Ten Football Championship Game.
Saturday morning, Wishard Memorial Hospital closed its doors.
