SPEARSVILLE, Ind. (Brown Co. Democrat) - The bodies of a 57-year-old man and his three dogs were found in a Spearsville home Wednesday.
The discovery was made after a resident in the area called police for a welfare check, 24-Hour News 8's news partner The Brown County Democrat reports.
Neighbors became concerned after they hadn't seen the man, Robert Arnold "Bob" Suding Jr., for close to one month.
The Brown County Coroner estimated Suding had been dead for two to three weeks. Causes of death for Suding and the dogs have not been determined.
The town of Greenfield mourned the loss of its mayor, Richard "Dick" Pasco on Tuesday.
Interstate 70 east near Interstate 465 was reopened Tuesday evening after a crash blocked all lanes around 6:30 p.m.
