FRANKLIN, Ind. (Daily Journal) - Franklin is cutting 18 teaching positions after fewer students have enrolled at Franklin schools for the fall.
The district will not replace the 15 teachers who are leaving. It will also cut three more positions next year, 24-Hour News 8's news partner The Daily Journal reports.
Some cuts are based on seniority while others come from retiring, resigning, or temporary contracts ending.
