FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) - The robbery of a downtown Franklin pharmacy prompted the lockdown of area schools on Thursday.
As of noon, Superintendent David Clendening said in a tweet the lockdown was lifted at Franklin Community Schools.
Franklin Police said two men robbed Henderson's Drug Store. Shots were fired by police, but they struck the grass.
As of noon, the two men had not been apprehended.
Interstate 70 east near Interstate 465 was reopened Tuesday evening after a crash blocked all lanes around 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Indianapolis Police Chief Rick Hite will promote 23 officers. Three sergeants will be elevated to the rank of lieutenant. Twenty patrol officers will be promoted to the rank of sergeant.
