BROWN COUNTY, Ind. (Brown Co. Democrat) - Two women who were looking for wild mushrooms in Brown County Thursday came upon bones believed to be human.
Officers were called shortly after 3:15 p.m. Thursday – a woman told police she'd found the remains in the woods, 24-Hour News 8's news partner The Brown County Democrat reports.
Investigators are working to determine the skeletal age estimation as well as a cause and manner of death.
The Brown County Chief Deputy Coroner said dental records may need to be used to make identification.
