BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - An Indiana University student found unconscious at a fraternity house on Friday has died, IU Police said Tuesday night.
Brian Macken, 19, died at Bloomington Hospital. He was originally discovered at the Phi Sigma Kappa house, though he wasn't a member of the fraternity.
Police did find evidence of possible drug use at Macken's residence hall room, though officials didn't release the cause of Macken's death.
Macken is a native of Greenwich, Conn. and was known in the community for his time on his high school's hockey team, according to local newspaper Greenwich Time.
In a news release, the IU Police Department said, "The entire university community is saddened by this loss."
5 P.M. UPDATE: The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says deputies were working multiple accidents, including slide-offs, property damages and personal injury crashes all over the county.
